The knob was loose so it creates unwanted rattling noise whenever the volume is turned up.
Disassembly of the left door panel was relatively easy. Speaker, screw covers, screws, door handle were all that needed to be removed. Then the whole door panel is moved upwards and out. Besides making the knob stay put, I tied up some loose cables and their connectors to make sure they weren't knocking against the door panel as well. After putting everything back, I turned up the volume. No more rattling, problem solved.

"Removable" shift knob
Sometimes this shift knob becomes detached when driving. Especially when you're trying to put it into reverse gear, you tend to pull on the knob. Nothing too serious since you can put the knob back or you can shift with just the stick. But I added a bit of glue and it should stay from now on.

Valve cover removed to gain access to the plugs.
I cleaned up the engine bay and decided to have a look at the plugs. I have not opened them since I got the car last year so I can roughly say that the plugs are about a year old. They were Splitfire Peak plugs with 4 electrodes.

But the last time I checked the web, Splitfire wasn't selling any plugs with 4 electrodes. Hmm...
Unfortunately, while examining the plugs, I accidentally dropped one. The electrode was bent and though it could be adjusted back, the electrode might have suffered some stress in its metal structure and might break in the cylinder. That would scratch up the cylinder wall and give me a good excuse to swap another engine in.

The new plugs cost me RM25. Much less than an engine swap.
Not very sure which type of plug to buy, I went and refer to the 20v repair manual and bought the plugs they recommended. It was NGK's BKR6EP-11, P for platinum, but I got the non-platinum one instead. Came back and installed them and took the car out. No noticable power increase, but it gives me the satisfaction knowing that no electrodes are going to fall into the cylinders ;)
